PhysTrix Showdown
PhysTrix Showdown is a PvP online multiplayer chaotic physics-based block-dropping stacker built around the moment a clean stack stops being stable. It's like playing that one game, with all of its modern controls and mechanics, as seen in games like TETR.IO, until the moment of chaos: everything is affected by gravity. No support on something? It will collapse.
But you have well balanced control. And your retro Tetris skills will - mostly, kinda, maybe - transfer here!
Until the point you realize that everything happens in real time and you must soft-drop your T to block something from falling, and then just rotate it in a slot for a glorified T-SPIN Double... only for that unstable stack to become the next disaster.
FEATURES
PhysTrix Showdown is much more. You are given a complete control over the rules:
- Shapes that fall can be anything. Pentominos, Hexamnos, and you can even draw your own.
- Classic well known line clears, but also color lines, and color clusters with options on how many colors need to be stacked.
- Design your own starting positions and progressive objective "trash" mode.
- Define winning conditions, or just chill endlessly in Friendly mode.
The game follows the modern handling and control for the genre, and our custom rotation and kick system can handle any shape. And we use the SRS for tetrominos. Also pocketing (holding a piece in reserve slot to use later), shape-slotting spins, and board clears.
And then here comes the gravity. We have 2 gravity modes. Grid-based gravity where things cannot stay in air without support, and actual physics rigid body dynamics - where shapes have their friction, bounciness, mass, and the whole stack can collapse, forcing you to play in a very different stacking style.
It is fast, messy, experimental, funny and built for players who enjoy making a plan just before gravity ruins it.
